Nelephant Montessori School is located in St. Catharines and is a Not-for-Profit Charity committed to providing an authentic Montessori education for young children. Nelephant Montessori School was founded in 1971 by a group of parents who wanted a school program that provided children with the opportunity to develop into self-reliant, confident, and independent learners. These parents helped to shape and inspire several generations of capable, confident, and happy children.
Problem
Nelephant Montessori School was looking for a website refresh to make it more engaging and dynamic to keep up with the updates and content that they needed to provide to current and potential parents. Their website was very outdated and unorganized.
Solution
I redesigned their Wordpress website by giving them a more organized layout and helping them to come up with an updated colour palette to distinguish the different programs that they offer. I reworked their information architecture and used updated photos from their students and their school. The website now creates a better user experience and allows for parents to find important information quickly.
