The International Institute for Environmental Studies (IIES) is a global leader in environmental research, facilitating international collaboration between research scientists, policy experts, associated postdoc fellows, and students. The IIES organizes workshops and forums for students to network and meet industry experts as well as students from other parts of the world in similar fields of research. The IIES was founded by Professor Emeritus Douglas Evans of Trent University in Canada and Associate Professor Huan Zhong of Nanjing University in China.
Problem
The IIES needed a new logo, brand identity, and website after having used the same design for years. Their website was difficult to navigate and their logo was very outdated. They needed something fresh that would boost their online presence and appeal to potential investors.
Solution
I redesigned the IIES logo and added some colour to their brand colour palette. I also redesigned and developed their new website, taking them from an outdated design to an eye-catching, user-friendly design. Their website is hosted on Wordpress, and is now completely up to date with current website design principles.
